"I bought the 8 compartment version as part of a fly fishing starter kit for my son (7). The compartments hold one winged/parachuted size 10 or 12 fly comfortably, or two to three size 18s. I could probably have gotten away with buying the 12 compartment version, but his favourite Hi Vis Bee would have been cramped for space.
We can talk about the flies without having to open the box. It would not be the end of the world if either of is drops it, or stands on it, or loses it (except that this little box can carry eight times its own cost in flies).
I think that this box is great value for money. He is not quite sure what to think as it does not have "Cabela's" written on it in gold lettering."

"I'm down-sizing all the stuff I haul about while stream fishing. These fit nicely into the Cabela's chest pack, don't take up a lot of space, but hold enough flies. I fish a lot, including out west, so these fatures work for me."

"Bought 2. Not clear as pictured, but an ugly orange tint. Came complete with scratches in the lid. Low price, I guess you get what you pay for. I would have returned them but, with return postage what it is, it was cheaper to throw them out."
