Fresh fish!,

"This thing is awesome! Just got back from a fishing trek in the Smokies, and, other than being heavy when wet (we backpacked in/out, so weight was a premium), it worked beautifully. Keep it wet and it will keep your catch fresh all day. My first catch was about ten, and when we went to clean the fish at five, two were still alive!
If I could change one thing it would be to offer it in a smaller size (these high-altitude smokies fish aren't that big!)"

"I bought my Artic Creel over 25 years ago and it is still going strong. At that time there were no soft tackle bags available. I bought the bag to hold fishing tackle. The small bag is a perfect size and the shoulder strap is perfect."

"I have used the ArctiCreel for years and in my opinion, it is the best creel on the market for the stream fisherman. I have owned both sizes, but prefer the smaller size. On the larger size, the outer wall actually sags too much when you put a few trout in it, even when you snap the button. It is also a little too bulky for my taste, which is why I go with the smaller size. These creels are rugged and keep your trout cool and fresh especially if you wet it down on a spring day. They cost a little more, but they can last for years if you take care of them. They are actually machine washable, but I found soaking them in a tub of soapy water works fine. I have bought cheaper ones that the insides rip up in or the straps break. I have never had trouble with the ArctiCreel. I can't say enough good things about it! I highly recommend picking one up!"

"I used cheap ones in my 20s and then got this creel. I use it every year and am 58 now. This keeps the fish cool as long as the bag is wet. Mine is in one piece with a few stitches and some duct tape inside. Bought a new one 2 or 3 years ago but gave it to my brother. Repaired one more time and used it last weekend. A new one is on its way and looking forward to a few more trips without belly burnt but fresh trout."

"This is just a great product. I have used one for many years. As for price you get what you pay for. Hard to wear one out. The plastic piece on the back is suposed to keep you dry when creel is wet , but it is worthless. Tears easily and is gone quickly, otherwise these creels wear like iron."
