"I know this classic split willow creel is an old fashioned piece of fishing gear, but I'm an old fashioned guy. I could not find a split willow creel, and was told by the local fly shops that they were only in antique stores and museums. I immediately went to Cabela's.com as I knew if anyone would have them, Cabela's would, and, as usual, I wasn't disappointed! I love the creel! It is well made, and true to the classic design. The harness is quality leather, and easily adjustable to whatever I'm wearing while fishing. The creel even smells of my childhood and fishing with my Dad. Thanks Cabela's!"

"Beatiful. Well made. Pack it with damp moss and take home a limit for dinner.
Bigger than most creels. A little big for most wild eastern brook trout."

"Excellent durability; stable; securely holds larger lake trout -- up to 14" & 2lbs; delighted with sholder strap configuration; suggestion: would like to see (for future product) easy open and close flab cover for opening in top -- would allow total emersion of creel in rough water streams and lakes"

"My wife and I recently purchased an new home and my wife is a country person the same as I. She decided that her theme for the master bath would be fishing. We were looking for something to store the magazines in. When she saw the fishing creel offered by Cabela's she knew that is what she needed to finish the master bath. When it arrived we were not disappointed. I figured that it would look "okay" but I was truly impressed. It was constructed sturdy and the craftsmanship was far above normal.""

"This model included the leather harness. It is light weight and comfortable to wear. Inserting fish into the creel is accomplished easily either through the top access slot or by adjusting the lid latch buckle. The convenience of being able to store your catch safely without leaving the water to put the fish in a cooler or other container is immediately appreciated. Clean up proceedure included washing with a sponge and mild soap, a rinse with cool water and air drying. The only recommendation for improvement that I would make would be that the straps could be 2-3 inches longer. I am 6'5" tall and 235lbs. Anyone much larger may have an uncomfortable fit."
