float tube fins,May 15, 2009
By DutchysDaddyfrom Southwest Oklahoma
"If you have small feet, great. Buy them. They advertise that this fin can be worn with boots. Not if you wear anything larger than a size 10 men's wading boot! These appear to be regular swim fins labeled for tube use. In my opinion they do not appear to be enlarged to accomodate bigger wading boots. I suppose you can wear them with your stocking foot waders without boots, but you'd tear up your booties on rocks and gravel and the fin straps would wear away at them too. No thanks, not with my expensive waders. I have been buying and using Cabelas products for decades and have been absolutely satisfied until now. Sorry, just can not recommend this product to anyone but kids and smaller adults because of the fit."

Great Float Tube Fins,May 4, 2009
By Williamsboyfrom Bishop, California
"Excellent fins, pretty much your standard basic fins, but they are quality build, that's apparent right when you take them out of the box. The rubber foot section is soft and pliable enough to keep your feet comfortable over your whole stroke. There are plastic inserts in fins that are for packaging purposes, be sure to take these out before using the fins. The heel strap is easy to use after you have adjusted them appropriately. Make sure you unhook the side on the inside of your foot prior to getting in your tube, this will make putting them on in your float tube much easier as this side is much closer to you. Overall I'm very happy with these fins and I believe they will last a very long time."

Good fin for tubing,December 17, 2008
By SoCalTuberfrom San Diego, CA
"When you're shopping for float tube fins a huge consideration is being able to fit your foot wearing a wool sock (or two), wader foot, and a wading type shoe to walk to the shore with with so you don't wear out your wader foot, into the fin. These fins have plenty of room for my size 12 foot with all of that on it. It's difficult to impossible to fit all of that into your standard fin. They have a large blade and get me to where I need to be easily. For body boarding I wear a different fin. For tubing these are the way to go."

Foot Straps,March 28, 2008
By mkaz
"I have had a pair of these fins for 4 years and have been very happy with them. Thay are quite large and are a bit ungainly while on land or walking in shallow water, but once in the tube they work great. As far as the straps go, mine are finally starting to show some wear and will need to be replaced sometime this season. Replacement straps are available from the manufacturer. As always, be sure you have fin tethers just in case the straps break - the fins will indeed sink quickly!"

Float Tube Fins,July 2, 2007
By JohnnyEaglefrom San Diego, CA
"The fins were excellent, and propellled me around the lake as needed. I wore the fins over wading boots. The only problem that I encountered was that one fin strap came loose, and was not sure when it came loose. Luckly I did not lose the strap. The fins stayed tight to the boots. Not sure what would happen if I lost one fin, might have a problem getting back to shore."

Not so good over wading boots,June 14, 2007
By AZfisher
"These just don't fit well over my wading boots (size 11). They are stretched way too tight. I was worried about the strap coming off the whole time I was in the water (it happened when I was trying them on). I also tried trimming some of the opening off, thinking I could shove my boot in farther, but it does not effect how deep it goes in. So now I have one fin that is floppy. They also do not float, so If you loose one in the water it is gone..have fun getting back with one fin.
I would stay away from these if you are using adult size wading boots."

"These are pretty good fins. My only issue is that once they are on it is difficult to tighten or loosen them. If you want these fins make sure your fit them before your out in the water."

Wouldn't fit over my wading boots.,May 20, 2007
By Ruckfrom Seattle, WA
"One size fits all? Right. These boots would not fit over my size 12 wading shoes. The add says "One size fits a wide range of bootfoot and stockingfoot waders." So I was led to believe that it would fit over size 12 boots. Dont buy these fins unless you are sure they will fit."

OK product, some problems,April 24, 2007
By PCFishesfrom Minnesota
"These flippers are good in the water, but.... The straps are a little short, and therefore are under a lot of strain, and eventually will crack and break.
The foot holes fit only the smallest of toes. I actually had to shave down some old boots to make them fit comfortably. I can barely get my Sims brand boots in them."

Perfect float tube fins for anyone!,January 8, 2007
By ClayDuster86from Stockton, CA
"These are by far the most comfortable, powerful fins around. They fit sung, and stay comfortable all day long. They are a great way to get around in a float tube, and cost much less than any trolling motor!"

fins,November 22, 2006
By troutseekerfrom Boise, ID
"I have used and purchased a lot of fins over the years being an avid float tuber. These are simply the best I have tried. They have a lot of thrusting power and are easy to get on and comfortable. I use these exclusively with my pontoon boat and they are impressive."
