"As received this line straightener did not work well because the foam rubber liner was too soft. I lined the surface with inner tube rubber and it works better."

"The straightner works fine but the clip that pins to your vest is a piece of trash. I have lost the straightner and a bottle of floatant because of these cheap clips. Make sure you attach the straightner to something else."

Too soft...,

"I'm not real thrilled with this straightener. I thought the inside was made of leather, but its more like foam. It just doesn't have the texture to do a good job. It doesn't work that great unless you run the leader through it about 10 times with as much pressure as possible."

Foam Insert Will Not Hold Up,

"Good concept..but not good quality. The insert of the leader straightner is foam or neopreme. Once you have pulled your leader through, the line cuts into the foam..and leaves a permanant indention. I do not expect this product to last all that long."

"MY FIRST TIME GOING FLY FISHING( AT THE GRAND CAYMAN ISLANDS) FOR BONEFISH. THIS PRODUST WORKED SO EASY ON THE LEADERS, ESPECIALLY AFTER BEING WOUND IN A CIRCLE FOR I DON'T KNOW FOR HOW LONG. BUT, IT MAKE TYING THE SHRIMP FLIES VERY EASY."
