Mercury – Fits Mercury and Mercruiser, Mariner (1992 and newer, 40 hp and over) motors.
Mercury Generation II – fits Mercury motors 2002 and above.
Mariner – 40 hp and below; pre-1993.

"I had problems with sticky control cables and purchased these. It took me all of about 30 minutes to take out the old ones and put in the new ones. Now the throttle slides so smooth with little effort. What a huge difference. It's worth every penny. I should have changed my cables a long time ago."

"My boat is 21 years old with a OMC outdrive. When the shift cable froze up I was very worried that I would not be able to find a replacement. I was very happy to find it at Cabela's and even more surprised with the price.
