How did I live without this?,September 1, 2009
By MAD777
"I really don't know how I lived without this hook box! This is the perfect way to store hooks. There is a label sheet in the top of the lid that allows you to label your hooks, just like a box of chocolates (as Forest Gump would say)! The bottom of the bins are curved so that you can easily retrieve a hook by sliding it up and out as opposed to just jabbing your finger in there and seeing what you come up with, OUCH! This box is worth every penny!"

Hook storage,January 30, 2009
By Brunodadfrom Fresno, CA
"If you tie flies or use a lot of hooks in several sizes and styles than this is the box for you. Simply the best hook storage system I have ever used. The curved bottoms make it easy for even my fingers to remove a size 22 hook or a small bead. The lids stay secure and you don't need three hands to open them. This is a highly recommend."

"A good storage box not only for hooks but also for beads , eyes small parts etc. It would be nice if some of the compartments were smaller for small hooks."

"Add some adhesive backed magnetic namecards cut to size to help make sure hooks don't wander if it happens to go upside down or if you are traveling with it and it is pretty much perfect."

Hook Box,January 8, 2008
By jenbar
"Holds hooks wonderfully until box is dropped on carpet floor. Box flies open, hooks fly everywhere and one hinge on lid breaks. Takes 3 hours to sort hooks back into size and type."

Keep it Put,September 3, 2007
By DuvallFlyerfrom Seattle
"I do not recommend this product if you intend to travel with it. It only works if kept flat and not disturbed. Though the manufacturer states that it has a foam pad that keeps everythign form shifting around when moved, it simply does not work. Tip this over once and all hools get jumbled around- the foam does not work (hooks get trapped in the foam and fall out all over). Otherwise all other reviews are true- nice wells, curved, easy to read. Just keep it put."

A better hook box...,August 8, 2007
By wtpdosafrom San Diego, California
"I used different utility boxes as hook boxes. Some dividers moved and mixed up the hooks, and others had openings that were small and would not hold saltwater hooks. This hook box from Umpqua has 21 nice sized fixed compartments so that my hooks don't wander; curved bottoms making hook retrieval easy; and the compartments are good sized able to hold the larger saltwater hooks I use. I highly recommend this box to all who need an excellent way to store their hooks and keep them organized. Thanks Cabela's for carrying Umpqua quality products."
