"Cabela's sells a box that has 7 indivals compartments, this box has 10 and when you open it the whole side opens, it is difficult and things end up flying around , i never down a product, so if you are buying this box with the idea of keeping material for tying in mind, .. OK, but if you are buying it for hooks, i give it a thumbs down,.."

"The product works well. My only problem that I have had with it so far is that the smaller hooks have a way of getting past the dividers if the box is tossed around. I carry my hooks all over and they put on more mile than most people do. I have had this problem once the hooks get to a size 20 or smaller. They also work very well for separating the different types of beads that I use (i.e. tungsen, copper, brass)."

"I like the rounded coners of the bins and the height of the sides that won't allow the hooks to travel from one compartment to the other. I labeled each compartment by tapeing the type and size of hooks on the bottom side of the lid so I can find the hook that I am looking for with out opening the box. Adding a strip of magnetic tape to the bottom of the conpartments helps secure the small size (24> 20) size hooks in place in case the box gets turned over when opened. The white backing of the tape helps in making a easy count of hooks I have in stock. I also use the boxes for diffrent cones, bead heads and barbell eyes. Great for transporting small items while easily identifing and organizing hooks and cone heads and eyes. I eliminated lot of clutter on the fly tieing table while stacking the boxes with in easy reach."

"I have tried different ways to keep hooks organized and was never successful. I now use only the pro model hook box for all hook storage. I write the brand, model number, and size on the lid to identify the hooks. I am able to view my entire hook inventory easily and order when running low. The curved bottom makes it very easy to get hooks out of the box. The hook box has solved my storage problems."
