"I bought these in Black and Gold. The gold are great. but the black are more of a dark silver, smoked chrome color. I was expecting them to be darker. The quality is still good, but I was disappointed with the color."

"I've been using these weighted brass eyes to tie shallow water clouser type streamers for both fresh & salt water fishing. They are much superior to lead weighted eyes for these purposes due to their slower sink rate. The smallest size tied on a #12 or 14 streamer hook with 'fake-fur' wings in brown over yellow, or olive/green over white has been an excellent rainbow & brook trout fly in moderate flows & deeper pools."

"I love the action that these eyes give to my streamers. The Bull Trout I fish for really gobble them up! They also work well for me on a black leech pattern for large rainbows."
