"Lots of good quality feathers. I bought both olive and black and the olive was a little light but useable. I use them primarily to tie woolly buggers and some streamer patterns. Good value."

"I ordered 1 oz of strung marabou and found it to be garbage. The color was way off, the dye job was terrible with many undyed holes throughout the string and the color faded. Find another source if like to tie quality flies."

"I reccomend this product only by default in that it is no worse than most other brands. All of the dyed colors will "bleed" their colors badly since none are properly "fixed" after dying."

"I have used the Cabela's strung marabou to tie most of my steelhead jigs for winter and summer fishing in Washington and Oregon. With local fly-fishing shops outrageous with their prices for 1/4 oz. packages, I thought I'd try a cost effective alternative. These marabou are quality feathers to use. I would have given them a 4.5, if I could, because some of the feathers tend to be too rigid for use or not completely dyed (especially the black). To their credit, I have caught a couple steelies on skunk colored jigs (not on purpose of course!)"
