"after returning the cabelas brand for a third time i elected to go with the minn kota. i should have made that decision in the first place. the cabelas brand is made by promariner and not near the quality or value when compared side by side with the minn kota, hope this helps someone to avoid the cabelas brand in the first place AND BE ABLE TO ENJOY THE PRODUCT THEY BUY THE FIRST TIME AROUND"

"Great product, easy to install and it works perfectly. Minn-Kota manufacturers quality products. I have used their Trolling motors for years and a few of their other products with no major issues. If there were a 10 star rating, Minn-Kota would receive that rating from me."

Oustanding Charger,

"The installation was super easy and straight forward. Once back from a fishing trip all I have to do is plug in and the charger ensures batteries are good to go for the next trip. When the boat is stored, I just leave the batts plugged in and the charger ensures fresh batts even after several months in storage with minimal amperage draw. This is a well designed and dependable charger."

"I purchased the 15 amp 3 bank charger. Easy to install and does a great job charging my batteries. It does take about 8 hours to fully charge but I can plug it into a standard outlet without kicking any breakers."

"This charger is great. I just wish the leads would be longer and it would not be such a pain to extend them without buying the extension kit. It should come with all the mounting hardware too but it doesn't. The instructions make the install easy though. I bought the 315 thinking it might be good to have the ability to charge from a 3rd bank in case I added something else battery powered. I wish there was a way to disable the bank and take away the power cord until I was ready to use it though."

Minn Kota MK-315,

"Awesome product. Installed easily. Works like a champ.
When first installed I thought there might be a problem as my two trolling motor batteries charged up in a matter of a couple hours but my main boat battery took about 20 hours to charge. Since then, all three charge in about equal time so I'm guessing the boat dealer never charged the main battery and it had to go from zero to full charge.
In any case, the MK-315 functions flawlessly as I'm sure the other MK products do. If I was doing a lot of tournaments, I'd spring for the MK-342 or something that charges faster, but for now, the MK-315 is perfect for my needs. I go out all day fishing, put it on the charger when I get home, and all 3 batteries are fully charged when I need to go out the next morning."
