Works great with minor adjustments for Humminbird,

"This mount worked great once the spacers were modified slightly (ie. cut down a bit). I used it with a Humminbird Piranha Max 150. Had to provide my own zip ties, but otherwise I'm very happy with the product."

"It was simple to install and built of quality materials. I had to modify the spacers for my older Hummingbird transducer. It was easy to do with a dremmel and cutting wheel. Took about 10 minutes to install."

Not for humminbird 700 series,

"Although it says it should work on the humminbird 798 it wasn't even close. I ended up using the hose clamp that came with it and throwing the rest of it away. There was no way to adapt it to work so I took the hose clamp and put it over the plastic fitting that came on the transducer."

"This transducer mount is one of the best I've ever purchased. I fish lakes and rivers where you have a lot of stumps and timber. This mount will hold up in tough waters. It could be a bit easier to install with Humminbird transducers. Also, you will learn that the installation directions aren't completely correct. You'll need to use both small spacers as well as one of the large spacer when using a Humminbird system."

"I have mine mounted on a Power Drive 40. The only problem I had wasn't neccesarily the mount, but my transducer/trolling motor. I had to cut off about 2 inches of the Skeg, due to feedback problems. The sonar signal was bouncing off the skeg and really giving some wierd readings on the depth finder screen (Garmin 160). I have not had any problems with the mount coming loose. No weeds tangle on it. It's as tight as the day I put it on. (3 years ago)"

"I HAD PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED A BRACKET FROM ANOTHER MANUFACTURER THAT WAS ALL PLASTIC AND IT BROKE THE FIRST TIME I GOT INTO GRASS. THIS BRACKET IS STOUT AND WILL LAST A LONG TIME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BRACKET."
