"Very good stuff,tested it on a couple of weekend,had very high catch ratio,it has a weird color but the stuff works,maybe just as good as flouro.?!I even caught 2 browns on the same cast...twice!!!on two different rivers systems,using a dropper system."

"Excellent leader material. I have used it for many years. It has very good tensil strength and knots well. The ultragreen disapppears in the water and performs well in about any water, weather and fishing conditions. I have tied my own leaders for over 50 years and never found a leader I consider superior."

"Great line for everything. It just dose not like to break. I purchased the 2 lb clear for light duty nymphing and smaller dry fly fishing. It works great (always has) and holds up very well to abraision and alot of stress. I think it holds up to much more poundage than its test leads on but still fishes very light. Very low memory. Only drawback is that it might have too much shine for flat, shallow nymphing under exremely bright conditions, but Maxima makes a fantastic flourocarbon for that too ;)"

"If you like to tie your own leaders this is the material to get. It's incredablly strong and abrasion resistant. Maxima works just as well on small-stream trout as it does on big steelhead and salmon. It is easy to tie knots with and resists twisting, and yet it is supple and allows for easy turnovers. I've caught monster 6 and 7 pound spring creek trout on their 2lb. test (which they rate as 6X). Their spools provide the best leader material and last for a long time."

"I was introduced to this leader material by a good ol boy from the smoky mountians of NC. I would say that this is best leader on the market today. I've been fly fishing for approx. 15 yrs. and will never go fly fishing without it,unless they discontinue it! Iv'e used the 3 lb. tippet in the smaller stream and creeks in the smokies to the larger streams in Montana and Idaho. Nothing like catching a 19 to 22 in on this 3 lb. tippet. It will def. hold them if don't try to hoss em in."

"As a trout fisherman for 43 years, I was very happy to find Maxima Chameleon several years ago. A fellow angler and I were shooting the breeze, and I noticed this brown line on his reel. I asked him about it, and he took me over to the stream. I had a high quality monofilament leader and he had Chameleon. We put them in the water, side by side. The Chameleon literally disappeared from view, and that was enough for me. Also, this is some of the toughest line and leader material I have ever used."
