"Easy install with a little soldering. Seems to have a good range for the river running we do. Stout. Needs very little space and doesnt hang on trees/ sweepers. No problems so far."

"I'M VERY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE OF THE #5400XT VHF RADIO ANTENNA BY SHAKESPEARE. I DUCK HUNT ON THE BACKWATER OF LAKE BARKLEY IN KENTUCKY. IN THE WINTER TIME THERE ISN'T MUCH BOAT TRAFFIC ON THE RIVER AND SO I WANTED A RELIABLE VHF RADIO AND ANTENNA IN CASE I RAN INTO BOAT TROUBLE. THE #5400 LITTLE GIANT LIVES UP TO ITS NAME ...THE RECEPTION IS CLEAR AND THE 4' LENGTH DOESN'T INTERFERE WITH MY HUNTING OR FISHING ACTIVITIES."

"Low wind resistance on this one. I keep it vertical while towing the boat at 65mph. I recommend this one on a SS mount. It's also cost effective."
