"Here's the straight up facts, I fish 5 days a week. I was using a variety of rigs and lures. Then I half heartedly tried the devils. I was beyond amazed at the result. I troll at 1.3 mph. The lures did the rest. I boated 19 rainbows the first time and a 33 inch landlock the first day. The catch rate has been beyond all my expectations. I've boated browns, rainbows, tigers and salmon. This lure works, and has definatley become the first lure I tie on in the morning."

"I recently bought this lure went to go after Rainbows. There were 5 or 6 people fly fishing and a few fishining with eggs on the bottom. Everyone I talked to said nothing was biting. I threw in Taz first cast a 2lb Rainbow. Within 45 min I had 5 Trout and was headed home. Everyone looked in shock and People even came up and asked to buy any extra lures I had on me."

"I love these lures. The first time using the one from Cabelas I caught trout and largemouth bass on the same trip and from the same body of water. I have also caught Walleye, perch, and muskie using Tasmanian Devil lures. Highly recommended as a very universal lure."

"by far the best all around lure for trout and salmon, 5 fish one day, 9 the next. it is great to see cabalas selling these lures, always had to order direct....keep up the great work, for those that don't like the wire. string line through and tie to threble hook. also avoid using swivels whenever possible and troll at 2.1 mph, watch the rod bouncing to insure action"

"went pike and walleye fishing on opening day and fished this lure with no success,while other lures did fine.I did not like the idea that the wire leader goes thru the lure because when you take it off your snap swivel the leader will fall out and get lost. this odd feature is so you can turn the lure around and get a different action.Bad action either way.Save your money on this one."

"I was turned on to these lures in Australia. They consistently take trout. Good weight per size lure that casts far. A bit pricey but worth it.
I put a split ring in the top loop to prevent the wire from pulling out."

"A fellow trout fisherman introduced me to the Tasmanian Devil lure. They are Australia's number one selling freshwater lure, but were hard to find. The lure is very castable thanks to the lead core. They are also very durable and the color does not wear off since it is encapsulated in the plastic body. The lure is also versatile to rig since you can easily remove the standard wire insert with treble hook. An alternate rig I use is to thread my line though the lure and through a plastic bead, then tie on a single hook. This allows me to fish it in trout waters where trebles are prohibited."
