"The weight is a factor, but they work very well to keep you still on slippery rocks. They are a bit clumsy to put on and while walking on sand. If you can afford wading boots with studs then avoid this product, however, for the price they do the job."

"Great safety sandles. I walked all over my shake roof last week with solid and firm footing. These sandles are great for working on the wet roof and especially usefull in blowing out gutter debris. I'm sure they're equally great in a stream and on ice!"

"These creepers will give amazing traction on any surface (except concrete), the carbide cleats bite solidly. Great for wading, ice fishing, anything - they were designed for working on roofs. They are also rugged and will last FOREVER. My pair are going on 10 years.
The only issue is their weight...they are VERY VERY heavy to the point that it is an issue for all but the shortest walks."

"They worked great. Did an inflatible raft float trip in Alaska. Couldn't have studs in the raft, so it was either felt soles or these sandals. I do alot of trail hiking to fishing spots, so removable studs seemed the way to go vs tearing up felt bottoms. These sandals fit my boots very snugly, as if they were part of the boot sole. Well designed. Heavy, but they need to be for stiffness and durability."

"A bit on the heavy side, most noticeable when carrying but not much different than a good work boot on feet. Rock solid on seaweed covered rocks at the shore, and that is why we buy them. Extremely stable and the raised edges keep your foot in position, no rolling off edges. Interesting that these are also used by roofers and meet OSHA safety standards for that reason."

"I only had a chance to use these once before the season ended. After walking the jetties with the felt soled boots I felt much more secure with the Korkers. They gripped pretty well, especially when hopping from rock to rock. I'll have to see how they fair over an entire fishing season."

"I'm sure these would perform well, however I felt they were much heavier than they needed to be and rather clunky. These must weigh 3 pounds a piece! I would reccomend a lighter sandal or go with the Korkers wading boots that have the interchangeable soles. I am currently using the latter and am very pleased with the function and comfort."
