Great Jigs although a bit expensive,March 3, 2009

"These jigs are great and they catch fish. I do think they are a liitle expensive but that's ok if they work and that they have done. Another thing, I've tried to re-order several times and certain colors are on back order. You can back order but you have to buy a minimun of 3 to get them."

"Cabelas feather bodies are good bodies to use for walleye and sauger the only thing that can be sometimes bad is when the hook gets caught in the feather and thread of the bodies when trying to remove the bodies from the jig head."

"I use the 1 1/2 pink/white tubes when I go ice fishing for rainbow trout. I put them on a 1/32 oz mushroom head jig and have had great luck. Will be trying the 3" size this year of lake trout."

"The size is perfect, worked on 1/32nd and 1/16th oz. jigs virtually guarantees a hit if a fish is in the area. I've slayed a lot of Florida and Ohio crappies and saugeyes on these."

"I have recently (about 5 years ago) went sping jigging for walleye in Lake Erie with some friends and am now hooked. With-in days, I bought a jig mold, hooks, paint, and the Feather Plus Bodies from Cabelas. The Walleye are very tempermental in the spring so having the right color is essential; and when it's all put together it works great. The only down side is that we generally limit out within an hour or two, so it makes for a short day."
