"Thank you Cabela's for the prompt shipping. The spinners arrived in time for a weekend of great fishing.
I've always liked the Panther Martin spinner, and it has consistently produced good results for me. The in-line blade design of the PM requires a little faster water than a french blade spinner such as a Blue Fox or Aglia-Mepps. I like to quarter my casts upstream and allow the spinner to sweep along the bottom without having to retrieve line. The 3/8 ounce and 1/2 ounce dark body with brass or gold blades are my personal favorites. I have used this combination successfully for Sooes River coho, Deschutes River steelhead, and Crooked River rainbow.
Spinner fishing is my favorite method of angling. I don't make my own lures, so I rely on commercial producers to keep me in the water. If I could only have one type of spinner in my tackle box it would be Panther Martin."

"I have honestly caught hundreds of fish, mostly white bass with Panther Martins. They will catch fish when nothing else will.
The only reason I wouldn't give them a 5-star rating is the flimsy shaft and the cheap hooks that they are supplied with. I am constantly straightening out the shaft. After a couplle dozen lively white bass, the brazed-on third hook sometimes break off. The the hooks cannot be replaced.
But, as I say, I have caught many hundreds of fish with the Panther Martins, and continue to buy them by the 6-pack."

"Panther Martins are killer in the streams of Montana. 3/8 oz works great in the small streams and 1/2 oz is good for lakes and rivers. If you cannot catch fish on a panther martin the fish are not bitting."

"Over many years, the black and yellow body with gold spinner(002) has been the only thing needed to produce trout in the waters that I fish. I bring no other lure except these. A couple of friends of mine introduced me to these babies years ago. In fact one of them could be called the PM Guru cuz no matter what the conditions, this guy will catch trout with these lures. Pretty amazing that I don't need alot of tackle....just a small box of PMs. Keep It Simple Stupid."

"These were the only lures that seemed to work on Henrys lake Idaho and I only had one. When I finally lost it my day was done. I ordered a 6 pack and now am in good shape. Unfortunately, the Salt lake City area Cabelas did not have any in stock so I had to order them online. The shipping was reasonable though and the price is as good or better than anywhere else."

"I love this lure and fish it a lot. It never seems to let me down and it great for all types of species. I have caught the following with this specific PM pattern: Largemouth, small mouth, pan fish, crappie, pike, pickerel, perch, brook trout, brown trout, splake (and a few more I'm most likely forgetting). Even in salt water, I've caught tinker mackeral and stripers with this lure. I sometimes feel that I've become so one demensional in my fishing, using mostly this spinner. But when you're catching fish, it's hard to use anything else!!!"

"I've been using Panther Martin spinners trolling for White Bass for several years. Nothing else that I've ever used, and I've tried a number of others, even comes close to the success I get with these spinners. I've never had one fail in any fashion whatsoever. Because of the speed of the blade when trolling, it's absolutely essential that you use a good quality swivel along with the spinner to avoid line twist. Using the new braided lines rather than mono also helps minimize problems with line twist. An excellent product I can recommend without reservation."
