"I give this product 5 stars not because I'm convinced it actually works, but because it gives me a psychological boost to dip the hooks of my spinners into the totally noxious goo. I figure anything that smells this bad can't be all bad, and I have caught fish with the repugnant product smeared on my hardware while those beside me did not.

Wear latex gloves or be prepared to chop your fingers off to get rid of the smell."

"I'm retired and I fish just about every day. I use Smelly Jelley pro formula as it gives me the edge. When other fishermen are catching a few fish I'm catching many, many fish. Simply stated, I use smelly Jelley because it really works."

"I was turned on to "Smelly Jelly" by a friend and was sold. I use it on The Potomac River in Maryland With great success. It draws violent strikes from Smallies, Largemouth, and the occational Cat and Bluegill. This stuff stays on the lure even in moving water. After 10 or 15 cast it is still there. I can't say that about alot of other sents. Get Some Before I Buy It All!!!"

"I have been using Smelly Jelly ever since it came out. I can't remember how many years that has been.

I particularly like using it on ribbed worms It stays on for a long time, especially on the ribbed worms.

once a bass picks up a worm with Smelly Jelly on it they NEVER spit it out.

I always order my Smelly Jelly from Cabelas. Cabellas is the only place that carries it in the large jars.

Smelly Jelly is the reason I got my nickname (Smelly) in my Bass club."

"i have use this scent for years. i love the sand shrimp one. i just recently bought another jar for crappie it was the pan fish feast. it is bomb! it took me only like to seconds to get a fish! tip to the other anglers peel off the top label when your fishing with alot of people around you because they can get tips that way. but if you havent tried smelly gelly go get some now!"

"smelly jelly sticks well to both soft and hard plastic baits. I was impressed with how baits with smelly jelly were catching fish at least twice as much as identical baits without jelly. The gel adhears extremely well so you don't have to reapply as often as you do with a liquid or spray."

"I learned of this product about 15 years ago and having been using it ever since. When the temps on the Potomac River fall below 50 degrees it's time to break out the Jelly. One of the major benefits of this stuff is the fact that it STAYS on the bait for easily 30 minutes or more. The bass on the Potomac love this stuff (I use the Bass Feast flavor), so much so that I've had them pick up the bait while it sits motionless on the bottom. I like to use this stuff with a small texas rigged bait like a 3" YUM wholly hog tail and a 1/8 oz weight. The stuff is messy though so keep a rag handy to wipe it off your hands after applying to your bait."

"This stuff works great. My fishing partner and truley believe in this stuff after getting or butts handed to us in a tourney by someone useing smelly jelly the following week we had ours and loaded the boat while all the other teams struggled. The team that was there the week before did not show up at the tourney."

"did try it couple of times - unfortunately the fish was unable to tell me whether it liked the attractant or not, but a friend of mine said "smells like somebody died here!". Seriously I can't see like catching more fish with this smelly but feel more confident with it - maybe it works"

"Ok this stuff is putrid smelling, but really works great. It lasts a long time on lures and baits, specially in slow moving or calm waters. I use the bait fish scent and dip the hook of a spinning lure in it, just the hook though cause if you cover the lure too much the blade tends to stick to the body and not spin. Match the scent with your lure or bait and good luck."

"This stuff smells BAD so don't bring it in the house but for Small Mouth it works.
Use just a little bit. It will last many seasons.
A buddy of mine introduced me to it two years ago. He fished with it I went without. He won hands down. Same plastic grub.
