"Jet diver depths for all models become the same out past 150ft to 200. The J10 and J20 can not stay afloat with a 1/2oz spoon. They do not work well with deep diving cranks and are best suited to shallow divers and trolling spoons for trolling 20-30ft range depths. J30 and larger needs heavier rod because of resistance. Because the only MAJOR flaw in this product is the lack of a release system, definitely purchase an aftermarket release."

"these jets pull so hard my kids get tired reeling them in . I'll stick with dipsys because they trip, even though the floating ability of the jets makes them better for shallow water trolling under 30 feet.the dipsy's are easier to retrieve."

"If you want a cheap way to get to the big stripers in deep water then this is your answer. Never have I used such a simple way to get to those stripers holding in deep water. It is amazing and yet so simple. I have $1,000.00 's invested in down riggers but now all I use is this simple jet diver for just little to nothing invested you too can be catching the trophy fish like me."

"We complained to the manfg. about the depths ..they don't dive as deep as advertised, I like that they float though, so we don't snag up when we slow down. They should release or something though because they are too hard to retrieve especially if we have a couple hundred feet of line out."

"Using the jet divers really helped put me on the bass this summer trolling mid lake humps and roads. I got my limit every time I went, other trolling rigs I had just did not get the job done. Early in the summer I could not find any jet divers in the stores , I went to Cabela's and they had them in stock. Thanks Cabela's for helping make my fishing trips great."

"Floating Diver! Isn't that an oxymoron? Well, no matter . . . these work like a dream and are inexpensive and durable. I realy like the fact that if you stop, it comes to the surface, providing your tackle is light enough for the diver being used. As another reviewer stated, when a fish is on the diver stops diving and does not add to the fight, reducing load to tackle. Didn't give it 5 stars because there's allways room for improvement - Just not sure where!"

"I use the Lurh Jensen Jet Divers in the 10ft. model with excellent success for Steelhead here in the California rivers. The 10's have 3 holes on the top where the line from your rod attaches which makes then adjustable for your depth ( 5-10ft. is my guess) depending on boat speed. I can't think of a better way to get your bait down while trolling in shallow rivers. If and when they do hang up all you have to do is give them a little line or back over the top of them and they will release and float to the surface. Excellent product!"

I would rate them as 5 star but I have never been able to get past them not having some sort of trip mechanism so that when you are fighting a fish you are not fighting the diver. "I fish with these every time out. They float up during sharp turns or while at rest, a great advantage over weighted divers which will sink and hang up on the bottom. It also makes them much easier to recover when trolled into an underwater obstacle. A cheap and very effective alternative to downriggers. Jet divers also eliminate the need for a dodger or flasher. I've caught lots of nice fish with the red and silver colored divers."
