Winchester 101
Date:
I have a 10 year old Winchester Supreme- the same gun as the current 101, made in Belgium , with Invector+ chokes, and the 26 inch barrels. It has been an excellent gun for pheasants and ducks. At 7 lbs, it isn't the lightest o/u around, but the weight results in mild recoil with field loads, and noticeable but manageable recoil with 3 inch high speed magnums for waterfowl. Like all o/u 's, the barrels do not shoot to the same point of impact. The lower barrel shoots slightly high-just right for rising birds, and the upper barrel shoots dead on . After 10 years, I find this gun to be too heavy for a full day of long walking for upland birds, but as an all-purpose gun, it has been great.

Great value for your money.
Date:
I have this gun and have shot 1,000s of targets with it with no problems. It functions well with any kind of load
heavy or light. Installed extended chokes made a big difference.
