I have been using tents for over 20 years with traditional wood poles. This kit was everything that I needed to build my own frame allowing me to set up my tent up anywhere I would possible need to. The angles were very well built and being adjustable made it possible to fit my older Montana Canvas tent that has serviced me quite well but had lost a few inches over the many years of use. Not like the welded angels which a buddy of mine tried and struggled with getting a perfect fit. I had the adjustment to allow for the shrinkage in my tent. Very wll designed and a great product to build your own frame. I had all the parts needed to build my frame and at the same time stayed within my budget. The instuctions also included guided me through the process and were in English. I had a perfect fit when completed. I would recommend this product to anyone that is thinking of building thier own frame and are looking to get away from the cubersome wood poles. My only complaint is that the conduit that you have to purchase for this project is a little on the heavy side and I could not find any aluminum tubing to fit the frame joints. For my other tents I might save my pennies and spend the extra money on a complete aluminum frame. Great kit!
I am very disapointed in this product! The angels are made of pot metal & break very easy(two so far). They were sent without stops for the ends and the and conduit does not center well in the inteternal angels. You have to ductape the angels together when erecting or the frame will come apart when the tent is being erected.Every thing I have purchased in the past from Cabelas has worked great but these were poorly made I will try to purchase welded joints somewhere else............Jim
