This flashlight worked for 1 day with an amazingly bright laser and LCD's, I was thrilled with the distance the laser could be seen. Then suddenly the laser and LCD lights dimmed. Replaced battery costing 9$. Laser and LCD's still very dim/worthless. A wooden match is brighter!
I bought one of these for myself and after it arrived, I bought 3 more for my team members. We respond to geotechnical emergencies on highways through the winter, frequently at night. The LEDs provide a bright, easily visible beam and the laser is very useful for highlighting points of interest on slopes above the roadway. The solid machined aluminum body is very strong and well finished.
The only things missing are a lanyard loop and a case. The latter is no problem as this little light fits in a "Swiss Army" -type nylon knife case.
It's a great little flash light with a lot of power. Utilizing a single button to toggle from laser pointer to flash light can be a little bothersome. Also the lack of a hand strap means you must really hold onto it which could be an issue in some applications.
