Good quality/Easy assembly
Date:
Easy to assembly set. Decent instructions. Some of the drawings don't show you which side you need to be working on.
An improvement on this set would be to use square drive screws instead.
Also buy quality lock washers.
Took about 30-40 hours. 4yr & 7 yr old helping. I also had a friend help for 20-28 hours.

When I opened the boxes and felt the wood that this set is made out of every fiber in my body started to yell "Send it back". Then my brain took over and said "this is a playset, not a house, it's only got to last 10 years before it makes it to the burn pile or gets made into a deer stand." With that said, after assembly I have no doubts about the strength of the set. The instructions said 20-24 hours for 2 "moderately" skilled assemblers. Well, 2 doctorates and a masters in engineering took the full 24 hours. It's not difficult to assemble, the instructions aren't the most clear and are often open to interpretation but they can get the set built. The "barrel nuts" in this set are absolute crud, plan on making a trip to the hardware store to replace them as soon as you open the boxes and before you start assembly. The swings are a little too close together, 2 would fit better in this space rather than 3. Overall average quality but the pre-cut and (mostly) pre-drilled aspect of this kit were the selling points.
