These handcrafted leather cases are a handsome and functional way to protect your fine optics. Oiled full-grain leather is water-repellent and durable to provide you with years of protection. Large, Medium and compact sizes fit most binoculars. Compact model has convenient belt loop while medium and large models have a handy carry strap.

Cabelas Large Leather binocular case

It is very rare in todays society to find good leather cases for cameras,binoculars and instruments. You simply have to go to after market suppliers. I am familiar with the Triple K brand and their utilitarian gun holsters. I decided to buy a Triple K leather case for my Steiner 8x44 Peregrine binoculars as I do not care for the "pouch type" nylon case supplied. The large leather case is ample for my Peregrine and allows the binoculars to sit edgewise in the case and not conventionally with lens up position. This adds more protection and no shifting of the optics while carried. A good product for the price. Be aware of the limiting internal width of 2.5 inches for larger binoculars. This case will fit most 8 and 10x binoculars with 50mm or less objective lenses.

Good quality cases

The only reason I did not give the Triple K a 5 star was because the case was to small for my Steiner Safari Pro Binocular 10X26 that I also bought. I would have exchanged the Triple K for a medium size, but it was considerably larger. The Triple K is a high quality leather case and I really wanted to use it to protect my Steiner Binocular. I soaked the leather case in water to relax the leather. Then I placed the binoculars in a plastic bag and put them inside the case and let it dry. It took about three tries but now by binocular fits great. Great case just a little small.

Seems to be well made. My only complaint thus far is that the closure doesn't line up in the middle. Kind of detracts from the quality aspect.
