Snug Rug Spotting Scope Case
Date:
I purchased this case for my Leupold spotting scope. I'm very pleased with the case, it provides excellent protection for the scope and is quite compact. I like the detachable shoulder strap because it allows you to carry the scope easily in the field. I also find the zippered side pocket convenient for carrying a second eyepiece for the scope. I highly recommend this case.

Great case, but challenging to know if it fits
Date:
The case itself is wonderful if it fits your scope. Had a hard time telling from the descrip so I emailed Cabelas and asked the question. You can see in the Q&A's that they give you the dimensions. I have a 65MM scope with an angled occular, it is a VERY tight fit. It works, but it isn't ideal.
The quality of the case is excellent, protection is very good and buckles for tripod are very well done.

Careful Vortex owners
Date:
I have a Vortex 20x60x80 Skyline ED spotter and it will not fit in the large case! the eye piece sticks out of the zipper far enough that it will compromise the zipper. Wish I was wrong but had to send back for a refund. The case is well made but just a bit short. My spotter is 20" long.
