G5 Cinch Optics Tether

Keeps your rangefinder safe and secure when not in use, yet provides easy access when needed. It attaches to your belt, arm, safety harness, ATV handlebar, backpack or clothing and can be moved into any position for silent retrieval with limited movement. Rangefinder is secured to by a durable, steel reinforced cable. Includes a small and large mounting strap, belt clip, pinch clip, a rangefinder band with an adjustable strap, and a 3M mounting pad for flat-sided devices.

I was skeptical about buying the G5 Cinch based off the two reviews, but I decided to buy one anyways. I originally purchased the new S4Gear version, but sent it back based on numerous issues. I received the G5 Cinch, and followed the instructions. I did not experience any issues like the prior reviews; maybe G5 change a couple of things. I really think this product allows me to use my rangefinder the most efficient way, I like the fact that I can customize it. I would recommend this product.

recently purchased this item but will be returning very shortly as it is junky! The concept is great but the application falls short. I could not get my rangefinder to stay attached to the belt clip or arm clip.

Bought this G5 retractable tether for my rangefinder. I used it once while practicing at a 3D archery shoot. Was not impressed with the belt clip. It fell off my belt 3 different times as I bent down to pull arrows which meant my rangefinder hit the ground each time. Not good. One of the other ways of attaching it might work, but I took mine back to Cabelas.
