I just recieved this light and will have a real review after my April hog hunt. There is one post in the Q+A, and it asks if we can get replacemnet lense covers. The answer is "NO". Cabela's MUST get it together and offer replacement lenses. This light has a very cheap, and poorly mounted red plastic lense in a very nice metal frame. I would really like to see a better quality red filter.

poor light

Red lens was missing. Installed batteries, light was bright for 3 seconds, then died to nothing. replaced batteries same thing happen. Returned for refund.

AR-15 Adaptable

My brother bought one of these and told me that I should get one as well. I was apprehensive about purchasing one after reading the reviews about the mount. My brother found a solution to the mounting problem. Since we would be mounting these on AR15s for hog hunting, the plastic scope clip would not work. We purchased a cheap quick detachable picatiny mount and drilled a couple holes to match the ones on the light. I had to find two slightly longer screws but that wasn't too difficult. This light looks great on my gun and works perfectly.Extremely bright.
