Cabela’s Signature Oil is the only TC-W3 two-cycle oil that provides all these features to protect and enhance the performance of your outboard: smokeless combustion, inherent gel resistance, clean-burning detergent additives, increased lubricity by using synthetic additives, and low aquatic toxicity. This formula greatly exceeds tough TC-W3 requirements, surpassing all outboard manufacturers’ stringent warranty requirements. Cabela's Semi Sythetic 2 Cycle

I've been using it for a number of years on and off with my 1996 225 Mercury Pro Max. It's still running strong. It runs wide open at 6500 rpms on a very regular basis, so I can safely say it lubricates well. I also like the "smokeless" aspect. It is quite obvious when I have "high performance" quicksilver 2 cycle oil running in the motor on cold start ups or idling around. There is almost no smoke with the Cabela's oil. My wife and I just purchased a used pontoon, and are using it in an older 50hp merc.

signature semi-synth 2 cycle oil

I have been using this oil for a number of years in all of my outboards with great results. Less smoke, less crud on the transom after a weekend of trolling, which means less pollutants in the water. I also use it in my snowsleds, as well as premixing in ice augers, weedwhacker, etc. I have never had an oil-related failure of any kind. This is all the proof I need to keep using it, and to recommend it.

Poor Praoduct

I started using this prpduct many years ago and was more than satisfied. However, I now find that it smokes badly and leaves a residue in the exhaust area of my 2 cycle outboard that was never there before. I will go to another brand of two cycle oil.

Cabela's Semi-Synthetic 2 Cycle Oil.

I am a new boat owner so I wanted a good quality oil to run through my 90 HP 2 cycle Mercury. Cabela's Signature Semi-Synthetic Oil works great. I will definitely be buying more.
