This is a great piece of equipment. I bought this about a year ago. The 3rd Generation is great. I use to use these in the military and this is right up there with the ones we used. It can easily be adapted to mount to rifles as well by buying a separate mount, as long as your optics are NVG compatible. I mount mine using an Aimpoint M2.

Also I had no problem navigating the roads on my ATV blacked out....I could see plain as day...Scared the heck out of my wife, but it was fun :)

Your not going to find a better product than ATN....I would recommend them to anyone.
