Spring Brook Collapsible Wading Staff

This collapsible staff offers you an extra measure of wading stability in a compact, lightweight package. It's made of woven graphite and consists of four pieces that are shock-corded together and easily break down for storage in the included belt holster. It also has a foam grip, a lanyard with clip and a pointed tip.

The product description listed this as being 57" long. The one I received was three inches short of that. If your over six feet tall
you should pass on this one. Mine is going back.

Kept me from taking a dive

I got this wading staff for steelhead fishing on the Au Sable. It performed very well. It saved me from going down when I found myself in lose gravel and fast water, and kept me stable in many other tricky spots. The other two guys I was fishing with did not have wading staffs and both took a dive.

The Spring Brook Collapsible Wading Staff is great. It was recommended to me by a Cabela's employee and he knew what he was talking about. I don't even notice it hooked to my wading belt, but it works great with those swift, deep currents. Folds up quickly when done and doesn't stick when I want to use it again. Thanks for the recommendation!
