Our Boat Net has a rubber net bag that is less likely to damage a fish than standard netting. These come with hardwood bows with mahogany handles and a removable elastic cord. It is 42-1/2" overall with a 15" x 21-1/2" bow.
Well constructed laminate wood net. Tried it last weekend in my inflatable pontoon boat. Landed four (4 lb. plus) Rainbows and a 5 1/2 lb. Wiper. The reach of the handle was perfect, rubber net allowed me to remove fish and flies quickly and with no problems. It is a little heavier and the handle is a little wider than lightweight metal nets, but worth it!
This is just about the perfect net for a pontoon boat setup. While the handle is a little thick for my hand, at the same time that certainly does give it a secure and stable feeling. Good wood finish. The rubber net is easier on fish and a whole lot less trouble with hooks.
