I got this at least four years ago, used lots, carted all over and it is still a great net. No repairs or any problems, so I would have to say, from long time use, this is a great buy.

I used this net today for the first time. Very good net with the fish friendly rubber mesh. It weighs a tad more than a comparable net and I suspect I will have to replace the net stringing after a few years.
Great buy at 1/3 the price I paid for my previous net.

Just got back after using this net for the first time on a 2 week excursion on the Arkansas here in Colorado. Net was a great improvement over fabric, especially with 2 nymph rigs not snagging as mentioned in other posts. Teeth and gills from those big browns don't snag as much either. I find the rubber mesh, being thicker, also allows me less hand contact with the fish as I release it and retains less of the fish slime so all the better for a healthy release. Wish I had one sooner and the price is right.

Pretty Light Weight Rubber Net

Just got this net in the mail today. It's much lighter than the metal frame rubber net I had previously. Looks like the craftsmanship is pretty good too. Can't wait to get on the river and use it. Good buy for the money!
