    This net is just what I was looking for to use while kayaking in remote areas. It folds up and is easily accessible when needed. I would recommend it for a light weight portable piece of equipment.

    I like this net so much, I have bought two and I still recommend them to friends. Its very handy for a raft, small boat, or even a shore walker like myself. This net is bigger than the trout nets and can handle smaller salmon. I like the simple one hand operation and the fact it packs away nice and neat in my pack.
    try it, you will like it. One of the better products on the market today.

    works on smaller fish

    It served the intended purpose by allowing the user to net trout from an elevated concrete slab. I'm not sure if it would handle a fish of 4lbs or more as it is bendy. Excellent for trout up to 16".
