    see it from 2 miles out ~ on the water all night

    I bought this 2 years ago and think its great. I took off the original that was only 24 inches high. We fish 2-4 night a week and to be seen in the dark mean safety. I have had other boaters stop and comment on how far out they spotted our boat.
    Very easy to store & keep in a small space.
    This summer last August, i changed to bulb to the new LED style and WOW even the coastguard came over and complemented us for bright visible light.
    The light shines out 360 degrees and not down on the inside of our boat as to bother us.
    Be safe and get a taller more visible light and you'll be happy with this one for sure.

    This was part two of a set - both of them made from cheap plastic. Like I said for the bow lights, low price , low quality. LED Lights are bright but I do not think this will hold up long.
