Surprisingly similar to my oldie but goodie

Recently had my 30-year old Swiss Army knife confiscated by the airport authorities in Lima, Peru (stupidly forgot to take it out of my carry-on), and decided to replace it with a smaller model that still had scissors, toothpick, and tweezers.....but slips on a keychain. Have been using it regularly, and other than the much brighter red color (due to it being so new, I suspect), this knife is the very same as my beloved old friend. Blades are sharp and easily sharpened, scissors are sharp and cut well, and the tweezers are effcient enough to pull out the smallest of cactus needles. Thanks to Cabela's great prices, I paid less for this one than I did my other one 30 years ago!

My wife bought me this as a gift to replace an older Swiss Army knife. I didn't see the same quality with this knife that I've seen with my previous models. I tested the knife and found that the scissors would not function properly. The spring for the scissors was cheap and failed to open them automatically after each use. I ended up taking the knife back to Cabelas while I wait to buy a replacement. Cabelas returned the knife without any problems.
