Input from competition shooters and operational snipers aided Leatherman in the development of the MUT, its first practical and tactical multitool for military and law-enforcement personnel and civilian shooters. Most of MUT’s commonly used parts are replaceable and can be adjusted with a Torx No. 8. Multiple areas on the tool are threaded for cleaning rods and brushes. Carry options include a removable pocket clip, a carabiner and MOLLE sheath. The carabiner doubles as a bottle opener and the MOLLE sheath can carry a double-stack 9mm magazine when not used to carry the tool. MUT comes with a wrench accessory with 1/2" and 3/8" 12-point heads for optic system adjustment. One standard and two long, double-ended bits specifically made of tool steel for weapon sight adjustment store on the tool. Tools: include regular/needle-nose pliers, replaceable regular and hard-wire cutters, replaceable zip-tie/cord cutter, bolt override tool, firearm disassembly punch, replaceable carbon scraper, 420HC 3" combo knife, saw, hammer, replaceable cutting hook, and bit driver.
