Best money ever spent
Date:
The case is at first a little tight to get off but it is a great knife. It has been used to skin small game in the woods fillet some catfish and there's a bottle opener for that beer after a hard days play.

should have been better
Date:
I really thought this would be a great "niche" knife, but two or three things fall short of my expectations. First is the inability to get a truly "sharp" edge on the plain portion of the blade (by my standards). The serrated portion is ok, but not the rest of the blade. Second is the release on the sheath. It requires a difficult (and dangerous) two-hand operation to get the knife out of the sheath. I took a hacksaw blade and carefully cut the slot on the release about a half-inch deeper which allows for one-handed operation. Also the belt clip isn't great. It makes a decent "tool" for digging, scraping, prying, etc., but you need another knife along for cutting chores requiring a sharp edge.

Handy Knife
Date:
Has a decent edge with a pretty thick spine. I wrapped the sheath of mine with paracord and turned it into a neck knife. Lots of carry options and secure enough to carry inverted without fear of losing it. Great camping/backpacking knife to add to your collection.

Good knife- Bad clip
Date:
Don't overlook the words *Pocket-clip*
This is a very nice knife & sheath. Solid and strong, and the bottle opener works very well.
BUT,
I mistook the words *Pocket-clip* as being a clip that would work on your belt or keep the sheath attached to your pocket. The truth is, if you put this clip on your belt your knife will fall off and be lost. You will also find that the knife will slip out of your pocket. The "Pocket-clip* does not keep the knife in place. It also takes two hands to remove the knife from the sheath, unless you want the sheath to fall on the ground or be tossed across the room. The clip doesn't keep the knife or sheath in place.
