To determine height, measure from ground to the top of the receiver tube, then subtract 3-4 inches for needed ground clearance.

Great item as always from Cabelas. However don't waste your time or ruin your garage wall mounting the wall storage bracket. Mine was too short for the pin to go in to keep it on the bracket. They place the hole for pin 21/2 inches from wall and all of my receivers are 3" to center. Disappointing now that I have a bracket on the wall I can not use. The Towtector is the best product on the market for protecting your boat and the price Cabelas has is the best price you will find for the premium model.

Make sure you get the right height when you order one, they are very tough to cut, make sure its high enough to not hit the ground but low enough to get maximum protection. Build very very well. Still get a little road rash on my trailer but it protects the boat very well. You have to have something especially if you have a fiberglass boat.
