Mowing large areas just got easier with the dependable Swisher 44" Trailmower. Large 44" cutting width allows farmers, hunters, and outdoorsmen to mow right down to the water’s edge around ponds and small lakes or tackle ditches with ease. Yards in any rural or suburban setting are a snap, and it’s great for keeping paths and trails mowed. This wide, finish-cut mower is designed to quickly attach to any lawn tractor, ATV or other towing vehicle with its adjustable universal hitch. Because it is towed, the powerful, reliable 11.5hp (recoil start) or 12.5hp (electric start) Briggs & Stratton engine funnels all of its power to the blades, giving you all the cutting power you need to get the job done. Makes mowing faster and easier. Mower can be offset in either direction or pulled directly behind tow vehicle and height adjustment is infinitely variable with easy-to-operate crank handles. Rugged heavy-gauge steel construction. 1/8" steel deck. Wide wheels add stability and aid in tracking. Rear discharge chute is spring-loaded. Automatic blade brake mechanism stops blades in seconds when blades are disengaged. Mower features on/off blade switch and two belt-driven finish-cut blades.

The swisher trailmower leaves a lot to be desired. The safety switch is a switch with a loop of plastic coated string on it. Mine fell off and was eaten by the mower the second time i used it. The tow bar cracked and broke the first time it was extended to the side to cut. Ok for level smooth ground.The mower would not start he blade safety switch was out of adjustment. Toiwing disconnect switch should be re designed.The towbar is too flimsy to use as it shows. Swisher offered no support to correct these problems.

i thought it would be able to cut more it works good on the lawn but you have to slow way down to cut heavy stuff

I finally took control of my land

We bought our land a little over 3 years ago. It has a 5 acre pasture that has been out of control every year. The grass, star thistle and wild rose bushes were taking over. It was so thick and tall you couldn't see any of the wild life once they entered. We got our mower in under 2 weeks. It was ready to go once the battery was charged. It cut that pasture down in just a few hours. We finally have control of our land! This is a great product. The power of the 12.5 hs power engine was more than enough to do the job. I am so happy with the performance. No flat tires yet!
