Really Good Plow!
Date:
This is a great plow that can be adjusted to work best for your soil. I have one of the smaller plows also, but this one literally puts the smaller one to shame. You don't need to add extra weight to this plow to get it to dig in and make a good seed bed. All you need to do is adjust it to make it an offset and it will break up the hardest of soils. Once you get the soil all busted up simply adjust the disc back into the starting position as it was and it's back to being like a tandem disc that you can use to bust up any bigger clods you may have. This way you're only busting up the bigger clods to smooth out your seed bed. People need to understand you don't have to plow real deep to grow a good food plot. Your seed should only be about 3 to 5 inches deep maximum. Anything deeper and your wasting time and money. This plow works great for small food plots~!

Wow !
Date:
Got this and easily tilled new unbroken ground. 76 inches wide outside edge to outside edge (tires) and weighs 430 pounds, requires liquid cooled machine though. Easily adjustable blade angles and ratchet is much easier to use than I was expecting for raise/lower. Has to be the best ATV disc out there !

best of the best

This disc is as good as they get. For the past few years I have been borrowing a tractor and 3 point disc. This year I purchased the terrain tough disc and it works just as good as anything I have ever used! In one pass I have the dirt ripped up good enough to seed on my food plots from last year.Built better than all of the other ones I looked at. Also does not need additional weight to work good. Remember, you get what you pay for. Dont buy a cheap flip disc.

Terrain Tough Disc
Date:
This is a nice little disc to help make food plots/gardens if:
your soil is not too compacted
you add about 200 -300 lbs of weights
you only need to disc about 4-6 in deep
you have a low riding tow vehicle (or do what I did and use removable pins to lower and flip the hitch to allow the lowest setting possible)
Some nice points about the disc are as follows:
built tough
fully adjustable disc settings
fully adjustable tow hitch settings
attatchment site for cultipacker (which I highly recomend since it will give it the needed weight)
For an ATV disc it is nice, but of course you'll get better results with a tractor and 3 pt disc.
