Leupold® One-Piece Mount Base - Matte

Leupold One-Piece Bases are true classics. Leupold has models to fit virtually every rifle in existence, making them one of the most versatile mounts you can find. The front part of the base accepts a dovetail ring, locking it solidly into position. And the rear ring is secured by windage adjustment screws. Matte finish. Made in USA.

Very solid bases- Excellent quality

I have used these bases on several rifles. I think the Leopold base/ring systems are the best overall, being readily available for most rifles and having ring height flexibility, choice of finishes, etc. The only thing I do not like is the rear windage adjustments. I suppose some adjustment is necessary, but I always am unsure if the rear ring is centered or not. Perhaps some center marks on the rings and base would be helpful.

Great mount easy to set up

I used this to mount a leupold 2x7 pistol scope on my Orginal XP100 in 221 fireball. I previously had an old Bushnell Phantom but could not get a good sight picture due to it's age and 1.3 power.
The mount attached perfectly and the pistol will now group consistantly under 1/2" at 50 yards

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A REMINGTON MODEL 7 IN A 223. I MOUNTED A ONE PIECE LEUPOLD BASE AND MEDIUM RINGS. I MADE THE ALL IMPORTANT TRIP TO THE RANGE THIS PAST SATURDAY WITH FOUR DIFFERENT LOADS FOR THIS RIFLE. I USED TWO FACTORY LOADS AND TWO HAND LOADS. WHEN THE SMOKE CLEARED, I HAD EACH LOAD SHOOTING UNDER AN INCH AT 100 METERS. NOT TOO BAD FOR SUCH A LIGHT GUN. I'LL BE USING IT FOR COYOTE HUNTING THIS FALL AND WINTER.
