Very nice product for a great price. Looked at a number of these one piece mounts at my local Cabelas with higher prices and this was the most versatile. I like that it comes with top mounts that have rail mounts incase you want a handle or CQB sites.
I have two of these mounts. I have the one inch mount on my LAR-15. After thousands of rounds, scope still holds zero, very sturdy mount. I have removed the mount to put on the iron sights several times and scope still maintains zero. I have the 30 mm mount on my LAR-8 in .308. A thousand rounds later it still holds zero. This rifle required a spacer, but that is not the mounts fault. Even on the spacer, it holds up great. Very happy with this mount, best one I've ever used. Would purchase another.
Burris has done it again. Like their tactical rings, this is a solid mount for an AR platform. Went together easily and have had no shift in point of aim after many rounds. Cost / benefit is great. Would definitely purchas again.
Just received my new Burris mount the other day, but the scope I ordered had yet to arrive. Being the curious type, I put it on my Stag 2L and looked through where the scope would be. To my disappointment it seemed as if the scope would be co-witnessing the front iron sight, so much so that it would obscure half the lower sight picture. The next day the scope arrived and after adhereing to both the scope and mounting instructions, I was pleasantly surprised that not only was the sight picture un-obstructed, the scope was still on a lower plane in relation to the bore. I thought I would need a riser when first mounting without the scope in place and just viewing through the opening of the mount....trick of the eye I guess. This mount is bull strong and clears the fixed "F" marked front sight as on my Stag 2L and probably other rifles of this configuration. I highly recommend this mount for its flexibilty and rugged design. Now off to the range!
