Stren is loaded with quality enhancing properties: high knot abrasion and shock strength; proper limpness for easy casting and handling; controlled stretch for solid hooksets and high tensile strength that provides small diameter per pound test. Clear blue, 2,400 yards.

i use stren all the time its not the most expensive line but its good stuff than when u buy it by the big spool its even cheaper i change my line every year i have caught 12lb walleyes on 10 lb test line it take a regular pounding

This Line is Hard to Beat!

I have been bass fishing since 1973. I have tried a multitude of lines, but always come back to the Stren Original Line/Clear Blue. The 12 lb. test has superior strength and abrasion resistance for plastic worm fishing and the hard hook sets it requires. The Clear Blue color makes line watching easy on the eyes. I highly recommend this line, and maybe that is why it is still around after all of these years!
