I use this line for leader material attached to running line of the one of the "no stretch" braided lines using a double Uniknot. The line has provided great knot strength and durablility landing many fish weighing in excess of the rated line strength over extended periods of time without retying (not a recommended way to land trophy fish). But it has worked for me! I fish in a fair amount of near freezing water/air conditions as well.
