I have used this stuff for over 20 years with no problems. Tried others but always come back to trilene. Clear blue is great to teach kids how to cast and also to detect stikes when drift fishing a river

Trilene XL is the most well behaved and dependable line for use on a spinning reel. I have tried many types and brands of line, but I have stayed with XL. It may be considered "old school" by some, but I consider it a "no brainer".

I have used 4lb XL Trilene I think ever sense it came out. I use a 3ft carbon leader tied to the XL and never have a knot problem! I catch a lot of Trout!
