Berkley® Sensation Filler Spool – Clear

Crafted with complex polymer technology, Berkley's new Sensation line offers incredible sensitivity, strength and control. It boasts low 20% stretch and has remarkable resistance to abrasion. Plus, its thin diameter ensures total manageability over presentation - light baits are easier to cast, crankbaits run deeper and spinnerbaits run truer.

Great for jigging
Date:
I've been using 8# test without any issues. It's sensitive and helps me to detect a light bite. No coiling issues at all and for the price you can't do any better than this.

Great Economy Line
Date:
This line is of high quality and very affordable. Low viability in water, easy to tie and spools well. Good product.

Awful
Date:
I have owned and used this line for awhile now and I can honestly say it is probably the worst line I have ever used. I own the 4lb test and fish it on a 5'6" Light action rod and typically use it for smaller game such as panfish and small trout. I have it on this set up to purposely catch small fish so I haven’t had any major issues with strength but it’s really not that great. I understand it is a weaker line but sometimes it falls apart in my hands when tying knots and 4lb test or not that’s a joke. Only reason it’s not a 1 star rating is because it does cast well. I will throw a 1/8 oz rooster tail and it surprising casts a ways and gives me plenty of time to retrieve. This line also coils so incredibly bad I can’t believe it’s even on the market. I have had to strip my spool multiple times because it just coils and wraps around itself so badly it cannot be used. It’s very frustrating when you have to keep doing this on a day of fishing because I mean hey the point is to NOT have issues when fishing. The coiling got so bad at one point that mid cast it just snapped and my lure went flying leaving nothing but knotted up line. Can’t take it anymore I’m switching over to Stren 4lb mono. If this was on a rod/reel I used more often I would’ve done it a long time ago.
