Butt Checkered synthetic plate (damaged, see picture).
Metal Condition Most of the finish has turned a light brown patina. Light handling marks scattered through out the piece, but no major notable damage. The firearm is still tight at the face.
Wood Condition The wood is fairly heavily worn. The checkering is near smooth on both the grip and fore end. There are handling marks, indents, impressions and scratches scattered through out the piece. There appears to be a possible crack to the rear of the left side plate and another crack where the trigger guard meets the stock on the left side as well.
Bore Condition The bores are still bright, but there is pitting scattered through out the 16 gauge barrel. There is also a possibility of pitting in the rifle barrel, but could just be carbon build up. There is a small bulge to the rifle barrel about 5 inches back from the muzzle that is visible inside and outside of the barrel.
