Columbia® Aruba™ III Zip-Off Pants

The weather's unpredictability doesn't mean a thing to anglers wearing these convertible pants. Easily convert to shorts with two quick zips for warm-weather relief. The built-in mesh briefs allow you to wear them as swim shorts or for wading. As part of Columbia's Performance Fishing Gear (PFG™), the pants are made of quick-drying nylon poplin fabric with an Omni-Shade® UPF rating of 50 and self-draining pockets. Pants convert to shorts with 8-1/4" inseam. Elastic waist with drawcord and belt loops. Back zip-close security pocket. Imported.

Don't waste your money

I received a pair of these for Christmas from a close friend but didn't try them on until they were gone. Why would anyone ever make a pair of men's pants with a bathing suite liner that is hard to get your feet through and gets stuck every time you try to take them off....or even worse a pair of men's pants with no fly or button in the front.

They may work well for women, but men stay away. Sure wish I could give them back, but must keep them for several reasons.

Beware...no zipper fly

All of the convertible nylon pants I've purchased from Cabelas and other retailers in the past have had a zipper fly. These do not. Seems very unusual to make men's outdoor pants without a zipper fly. I'm returning these and will order some at a later date that are more "accommodating."

Worst Pants Ever

If you like your jack knife to smash into your knee at every step, you'll love these pants. The cargo pockets are too deep and near the knee, and the slant pockets are too deep.

Whatever you put in your pocket will be carried at just above the knee level.

The mesh inner liner is extremely irritating to the skin, and the liner does not flex at all, but digs into your legs. I could not get these pants off fast enough.
