I gave this to my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it. He is surprised at how warm it is. As another reviewer mentioned, it is heavy. This is a serious sweatshirt and heavier than others. It is nice to see the metal zipper instead of the cheap plastic ones that are showing up in this price point. The only recommendation is that the Tall be a little longer in the body and sleeves as one of the other brands is. Great purchase, will be buying more colors.

Who Needs Polartec?

This is one of the warmest sweatshirts I have ever owned. It is also quite wind resistant even though it doesn't state that in the description. I was using the Cabela's Polartec E.C.W.S. 300 for my cold weather workwear but have found this to be almost as warm and much better wind resistance. The only cons I have found in this sweatshirt is that it is heavy, and I'm not exaggerating, when you take it off the hanger it will baffle you with the weight. Also there were a few loose threads around the cuffs, a bit of a quality concern but only minor, and an inside pocket would be nice.

This sweater is awesome!! I have worn this sweater a few times and love it. The times i worn it it kept me warm and those days were in the 40s with windchills that made it feel like in the teens. However I still remained warm. Great Product Cabela's!!

great work sweatshirt

I needed something warm that I can wear under my flame retardant clothing and this fills the bill very nicely. It is warm and so far it has not shrunk after several washings.
The only thing that would make it better is if it either had a zippered pocket on the inside or zippered exterior pockets.
